The MISS in MISS Electricity is Leaurdra Raye — and she's been in the trade since 1986.

Master electrician. Owner. The one who actually shows up to your panel. Her company has served Baltimore since 2015, holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, and was featured by Baltimore Magazine. What it's never had — until now — is a website.

No. 1 The Owner

Forty years of wire, one name on the truck.

Leaurdra Raye entered the electrical trade in 1986 at Baltimore's Mergenthaler Vocational School — the only woman in the program, as Baltimore Magazine told it in 2024. She stayed. She mastered it. In 2015 she put her own name on the work and founded MISS Electricity LLC.

When you call, you're not routed through a dispatcher to whichever crew is free. You're talking to the master of the panel herself — a Baltimore electrician your neighbors already know from Facebook and Nextdoor.

"I'm glad I stuck it out. Electrical work will always be around, so I never need to worry about being unemployed."

— Leaurdra Raye, in Baltimore Magazine, May 2024

"A lot of people, they still aren't used to seeing females in this field," she told the magazine, "so their reactions are really exciting."

No. 3 The Work

Residential electrical work, done by the owner.

Your job, discussed directly

Home electrical work of every stripe — describe what's flickering, tripping, buzzing, or brand new, and Leaurdra will tell you straight whether it's her kind of job.

One call, one electrician

No call center, no subcontracted mystery crew. The name on the LLC is the name on the work.

Four decades of judgment

An electrician in the trade since 1986 has seen your problem before — and the wrong ways other people fixed it.

Honesty note: this demo doesn't invent a service list, prices, or hours. The live site would spell out exactly the services Leaurdra offers, in her words. Until then — call to discuss your job.
