Leaurdra Raye entered the electrical trade in 1986 at Baltimore's Mergenthaler Vocational School — the only woman in the program, as Baltimore Magazine told it in 2024. She stayed. She mastered it. In 2015 she put her own name on the work and founded MISS Electricity LLC.
