Tj’s is a carry‑out counter on Nursery Road. You call, you say what you want, you come get it. This page exists so that the ordering number and the address sit somewhere that belongs to Tj’s — not on a free blog with somebody else’s name in the web address.
Right now the menu lives on a blog nobody at Tj’s owns.
This is a demo, not Tj’s live site. We built it because the whole menu currently sits at tjmenu.wordpress.com/menu — a free blog subdomain, not a web address of Tj’s own. Three things that costs you:
The address isn’t yours
The platform’s name is baked into the middle of the link. Every time somebody types it, reads it off a receipt, or repeats it over the phone, they say a blog company’s name before they say Tj’s.
A menu page is not a front door
A blog page can hold a list. It can’t be the place a customer lands and immediately finds the counter number, the street, the hours, and one button that dials. That is a different job, and it needs a page built for it.
You’re renting the shelf
A leftover blog page runs on somebody else’s terms. If the free tier changes or the page moves, the menu moves with it — and the link that was printed and passed around was never Tj’s to keep.
Nothing here is invented. Every fact on this page — the name, the street, the number — came from what we could verify about Tj’s. Where we didn’t know something, you’ll see a dash instead of a guess.
The whole system is a phone call.
No account to make, no password to remember, no third party standing between the counter and the customer.
