Twenty years in business.Appointments start with a call.
A tanning spa on West Street in Annapolis, twenty years in. This is a demo of what those twenty years could look like online: services set out plainly, the phone one tap away, and room for the booking request the current site cannot take.
Twenty years of standing, on a website that does not show it.
Beyond the Beach already has the hard part: two decades of customers and a 2024 award. The site carrying that reputation has not kept up. Side by side, here is the difference a current page makes.
Booking has one door, and it is the phone
“Call for Appointments & Pricing” is the only route offered. Anyone browsing after closing can do nothing but remember to try tomorrow.
It reads as dated
The layout and the type belong to an earlier web. On a phone, where most of this traffic lands, that gap is the first thing a new customer notices.
The track record is nowhere on it
Twenty years in business and a 2024 award are the strongest things this spa can say, and the site says neither where a visitor would see it.
The phone stays, the wall comes down
A call button sits in the header, in the hero, and pinned to the foot of every phone screen. Beside it, a request that reaches you while the spa is closed.
Built for the phone first
Type that holds at 360 pixels wide, tap targets sized for a thumb, a layout that reflows instead of shrinking. Nothing to pinch, nothing to zoom.
The record stated up top
Twenty years leads the page. Your 2024 award sits beside it — the award name is left out because we do not have it. Confirm it and it goes in.
What a tanning spa offers, set out so a stranger can follow it.
These are the service families a tanning spa works in. The specifics under each one — equipment, session lengths, packages — are yours to fill. Nothing was guessed on your behalf.
Beds and booths
The core of the spa. On the live build this lists the equipment you actually run and what a session on each one involves, in your own words.
Spray and airbrush
The other half of a tanning spa, and the half people search for by name. Which options you offer, and how long each takes, goes here.
Spa side of the room
The word spa is in the name, so this block exists for whatever sits under it. We did not write a menu for a room we have not walked through.
On pricing: there is not a single figure on this page. Your site tells people to call for pricing, so that is what this demo does. Send the current list and it is typeset here before anything goes live.
Let the page take the appointment while the spa is closed.
The phone still works, and for plenty of customers it is still the fastest way. This adds the second door: a short request that reaches you overnight, on a weekend, or while nobody is free to pick up.
Preview only. On the live build this reaches the spa directly, and nothing is booked until someone there confirms it.

Hours to be confirmed. Every slot above is deliberately empty — no opening time appears here that did not come from the spa. Read them out and they go in.
Your photographs, not somebody else’s.
Stock images of a generic salon were the easy option for these two slots. They are empty instead. On the live build these are photographs of this spa, taken by whoever is nearest a camera on a slow afternoon.

Twenty years earned it. This is what it could look like.
Nothing here was invented. Fill in the hours, the services and the photographs, and the demo becomes the site.
